Right from childhood with an upbringing in rural village, with strong values of human development, Gan has been a social worker for many years. He believes in helping the needy and share the resources and skills he has acquired in his professional life. As the Joint Secretary and an Execute Committee member of Amar Seva Sangam, the premium disability management in NGO at Ayikudy, Tirunelveli  District , Tamil Nādu, he has been involved in technology adoption of the organisation for core areas of Rehabilitation, Education, Skill Development and Rural employment to support many services users.  He established the CSR Cell with structured processes to work with many Corporate Organisations Foundations, Trusts in identifying projects for Campus development and Operations for effective deployment of CSR Funds of grantors.

Gan is a Trust in EduPassion Trust, Chennai that adopts more than 15 Government school and identify children to improve education to provide basic learning and enhancing their interest in education. Besides EduPassion support other activities like Chess, Martial arts etc to school children to develop overall orientation. EduPassion also takes up renovation of school infrastructure with active support individuals and organisations.

Sanathana Dharma is another area, where Gan is actively in supporting Veda Patashala and Goshalas besides engaged in many Dharmic activities. He is actively involved with a Yajur Veda Patashala at Periava Illam, Mambakkam, Chennai and support many of their Sanathana Dharma activities.
